This "course" is for learners who wish to be considered for selection towards the South African teams that are to participate at the International Mathematics Competition taking place in July 2025. Selection will take place among three age groups: Middle Primary (2025 grade 4 and 5), Upper Primary (2025 grade 6 and 7), and Junior Secondary (2025 grade 8 to 10). The hosting country will aonly be announced at the start of 2025.
Only learners who are enrolled for this "course" will be eligible to represent South Africa at the 2025 International Mathematics Competition (IMC). However, learners who are not available for the 2025 IMC are still welcome to participate in this "course" even if it is just to participate in the team selection and measure their performance against other learners.
This "course" is only for learners and hence parents and teachers are given access to their own "course", which is a mirror of this "course", in order to keep up with the relevant information. Parents and teachers are not given access to this "course" itself as they should not be able to complete the quizzes on this "course".
This "course" is not publicly accessible and requires enrolment. However, there is no fee for this course. Enrolment for this course must be done on the Admin Portal.
