This "course" is for learners (grade 8 to grade 10), who wish to write the 2024 IMAS (International Mathematics Assessments for Schools) contest. Furthermore, it is for learners who wish to try out for places in the South African teams that will participate in July 2024 at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) in India.
Only learners who are enrolled for this "course" will be eligible for the Junior Secondary teams that will represent South Africa from 26 July to 31 July in Lucknow India at the 2024 IMC. However, learners who are not available for the 2024 IMC in India are still welcome to participate in this "course" even if it is just to participate in the IMAS contest and measure their performance against other learners during team selection.
This "course" is only for learners and hence parents and teachers are given access to their own "course", which is a mirror of this "course", in order to keep up with the relevant information. Parents and teachers are not given access to this "course" itself as they should not be able to complete the quizzes on this "course".
This "course" is not publicly accessible and requires enrolment and payment. Enrolment and payment for this course must be done on the Admin Portal. The fee for this course is R60.
